NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
NEW HANOVER MEDICAL CENTER
IN WILMINGTON
On October 25, eight of us made the delivery to the NICU. Once again everyone was happy to see us and were anxious to see what we brought. Nurse Brandi carried one of the tiny pumpkin hats and orange blankets with her as she showed us around the NICU. Nurse Kelly was very excited about dressing up the babies for their holiday photos. One of the NICU doctors stopped to thank us. We met the hospital Volunteer Manager as she was taking a Sponsor on a tour. She stopped to tell the Sponsor about the Sea Trail Grandmas and their contribution to the hospital. Afterward, we went shopping and had a nice lunch on the waterfront.
