New Hanover Regional Medical Center
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
October 27, Delivery to NICU

Our delivery of Fall items to the NICU today was extra special for many reasons. We were allowed to visit with a precious baby named Rose. The Star News on-line and WECT news on-line both ran articles and photos of Baby Rose wearing one of our pumpkin hats, orange blanket and a little gown. Rose’s mommy was also interviewed by WWAY TV News 3 which aired at 5:30 today.
The other great thing that happened is that the hospital presented Sea Trail Grandmas with a donation to help with the purchase of materials. Our heartfelt thanks goes to Eileen McConville, Director of Volunteers, and NHRMC Auxiliary Pat Dagnon for their support.
The hospital invited the news media to the presentation of the check. We received coverage by WWAY TV 3 news at 5:30 and WECT News at 6:00. We were also covered in the two news articles mentioned above. Time Warner Cable was there as well.
Volunteers attending the delivery today were: Marge Libby, Joanne McDonough, Dolores Geisler, Charlene Doolittle, Betty Ann Potvin, Betty Ann Luff and Michele Lupien.
