FINISHING HOOD:
Three Needle Bind-Off
Place stitches to be joined onto two separate needles, or split evenly the stitches in the circular needle two tips. Hold them with right sides of knitting facing together. *Insert a third needle into first stitch on each of the other two needles and knit them together as one stitch. Knit next stitch on each needle the same way. Pass first stitch over second stitch. Repeat from * until one stitch remains on third needle. Cut yarn and pull tail through last stitch.
OR: Bind off all sts. Fold hood on wrong side and sew.
FINISHING BOTTOM:
Fold bottom edge in half, right sides together, and mark the center stitch. Then lay it flat and fold front edges over, right still together, so they slightly overlap center stitch and each other; pin in place. Sew stitch bottom, catching all three layers in middle. Turn on right side and sew edge in front to the first button hole. Sew buttons. (If the button hole is too large for the button, thigh it by waving yarn in sts around hole.

Thank you so much for making this pattern. It is beautiful!
I am with a large group of German women who sew, knit and crochet burial gowns and keepsakes for stillborn babies and their families. All our work is donated to hospitals and mid-wifes all over Germany and Austria, so the tiny angels babies can be buried warm and cosy and the parents know their little ones are clothed properly for their journey over the rainbow bridge.
Thank you! <3
Thank you Lythanda for your comments.
We also have a new bunting pattern who is made for 1 to 12 lbs baby. http://seatrailgrandmas.blogspot.com/search/label/Burial%20Set
