Woven Style Pattern

Blanket
Size 30” X 30”
Material:
-18oz - 4 ply soft acrylic yarn
-Circular needle size #8
Instruction:
-Cable Cast On 132 sts
-Knit 10 rows
Pattern:
Row 1 & 2:  K6, *K1, P1* repeat from* to the last 6 sts, K6
Row 3 and 4: Knit
Repeat Rows 1 to 4 until 42 more times
K 8 rows
Bind off.
Hat
(Knit with strait needles)

-Material:
-Strait Needles #5
-4 ply soft acrylic yarn
Instruction:
Cable cast On 56 Sts
“Cast on very loose or use bigger size needles”



1-10- Garter stitch: (Knit all rows)
11-35- PATTERN: "Work 6 patterns"
   .Row 1 and 2:  K1,P1
   .Row 3 and 4:  Knit
36- Next 2 rows:  K1, P1
Decrease:
37-*Knit 6, Knit 2 together* repeat from = 49 sts
38- *Knit 5, Knit 2 together* repeat from = 42 sts
39-40-  K1, P1
41- *Knit 3, Knit 2 together* repeat from = 35 sts
42- *Knit 3, Knit 2 together* repeat from = 28 sts
43-44-  K1, P1
45- *Knit 2, Knit 2 together* repeat from = 21 sts
46- *knit 1, Knit 2 together* repeat from = 14 sts
47- *Knit 2 together* repeat from = 7 sts
Finishing
Cut yarn leaving a long end (20 inches).  Draw end through the remaining stitches, one at a time, and take them off the knitting needle.  Pull tail tight and secure.
Using the long tail, seam hat together matching hat ridges.  Weave in ends.
Hat
(Knit double pointed needles)
Material:
-Double Pointed Needles #5
-4 ply soft acrylic yarn
Instruction:
Cable Cast on 56 sts (18-20-18)
“Cast on very loose or use bigger size needles”
1-10- Garter stitch: (Knit 1 round, Purl 1 round)
11-35-PATTERN: "Work 6 patterns"
   .Row 1:  K1,P1
   .Row 2:  K1, P1
   .Row 3:  Knit
   .Row 4:  Purl
36- Next 2 rows:  K1, P1
Decrease:
37- *Knit 6, Knit 2 together* repeat around = 49 sts
38- *Purl 5, Purl 2 together* repeat around = 42 sts
39-40-  K1, P1
41- *Knit 3, Knit 2 together* repeat around = 35 sts
42- *Purl 3, Purl 2 together* repeat around = 28 sts
43-44-  K1, P1
45- *Knit 2, Knit 2 together* repeat around = 21 sts
46- *Purl 1, Purl 2 together* repeat around = 14 sts
47- *Knit 2 together* repeat around = 7 sts
Finishing:
Cut yarn leaving a tail (8 inches) and thread tail through the remaining stitches, one at a time, and take them off the knitting needle. Pull tail tight by the inside of the work, turn work on wrong side.
Secure tails by making a knot with the darning needle.  Weave in ends.
